These infographics were created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Title IX, an addition to the Education Amendments Act of 1972 that fundamentally reshaped American society by prohibiting discrimination based on sex in federally funded institutions. Focusing specifically on the bills affect on women's sports, the posters are split into three sections: how Title IX works, the key moments in the last 50 years, and the impact of the bill since its enactment. Using a selective color palette, easy-to-read data-visualization, and dynamic illustrations, the posters can be displayed one after another or be displayed separately.
